Tonight we told our parents about Speck.
Jean's parents were first. We wanted to tell them the previous night but her dad wouldn't Skype due to the 1st South Carolina football game being on. We finally got them on Skype and told them by showing them a book from the OBGYN titled "A Miracle in the Making". It took them a second but they finally realized what it was, got excited and started clapping. Speck will be their first grandchild.
We told Lucas's parents over the phone. We called his mom first thinking they would be together but we had forgotten his dad had already gone to North Carolina for a temporary Pastor call. She was excited. His dad was excited as well and strongly hinted that he would like a granddaughter due to the fact that they already have 2 grandsons with a third on the way.
